4th Itguel Festival of Azrou (cedar in Amazigh)

The 4th Itguel Festival of Azrou (cedar in Amazigh) will be held from 29 to 31 August under the theme "For an open city".

About the event:

The festival, which has now become a platform for promoting local tourism, also tends to preserve the region's natural resources and to establish culture and art as a factor for environmental protection and sustainable development. Festival-goers will thus be entitled to a rich programme including artistic and folkloric shows, cultural, recreational, and educational activities for children, in addition to sports competitions and artistic exhibitions.

The Itguel festival, which also aims to give a new dynamic to the cultural and tourist life of the region, provides for meetings and debates on the development challenges of the city of Azrou, a city in the Middle Atlas, renowned for its remarkable tourist and agricultural assets, its rich biological diversity, and its ancestral cultural traditions.
